How do you know if you have hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids may itch and sting and bleed, and are common if you wipe the area too much/too hard, or have constipation and/or strenuous/hard bowel movements, or like if you have diarrhea because of constant wiping, and factors like older age can make it more common that being said anyone can get it older people are just more at risk because skin looses strength and becomes thinner with age. Ways to prevent/treat it are, use wet wipes when possible/as needed instead of toilet paper to minimize irritation if you are prone to having hemorrhoids or if you have diarrhea or problems passing stools, keep the area clean and dry and if you have hemorrhoids use a topical gel, wipe or ointment for that as directed.
