Is it true that guys have less respect for girls who dress in revealing clothes?

I dress quite conservatively for this reason but sometimes I find it isn't true. I've just gone to a gig and my friends were performing, they're an all girl band and they were all wearing tight and revealing clothing and loads of guys were gauping at them and were trying to talk to them. Where as I always dress conservatively and whenever I have contact with guys it's usually in a friendly way and I've never noticed them ever looking at me (in that way).
