My dog wrote me a note?

I got home from work and the only other people or animals home was my husband and my dog. On the counter I found a note that read: "Anne, please feed me, John fell asleep and forgot to do so! Love, Toby". Is it weird that my dog can write? Is my dog an undercover agent like Perry the Platypus? Please help!
